Early Decision Withdrawing Apps

<p>Hello! I was accepted into UPenn Wharton in december for ED, but within the next 2 weeks, my other EA app results came in, and i was accepted to notre dame, michigan, and babson as well as deferred from chicago.</p>

<p>I know on the ED it says you have to withdraw other apps and i already declined babson, notre dame, chicago for sure, but i tried declining michigan and im not sure if it went through. </p>

<p>would i be rescinded for not ACTIVELY declining an offer? or can i just wait it out and not reply?</p>

<p>If I were you, I would call Michigan and make sure they know you were accepted ED elsewhere so you are withdrawing the application.</p>

<p>As long as you have email records that you asked to withdraw, you are fine. But follow-up and verify anyway.</p>

<p>As long as you have something that shows you declined, it is not your problem if a schools fails to process it. You can try checking with your guidance counselor to see if there is some way to be sure your application was withdrawn. On the off chance you do get accepted, just decline the offer immediately. It happens. And congratulations on Wharton!</p>
