<p>I plan to apply Early Decision and want to know if that school will see my first marking period grades. First marking period ends before the deadline for Early Decision but I am not sure if that is something school counselors provide to the college or if it is included in my transcript. </p>

<p>I think they can legitimately request to see everything available at the time they make a decision. If you are in doubt as to what that may be, try to help yourself rest easy by working as hard as you can so there is as little as possible to worry about. The next two months are a time when you will get the most return on the effort you put in.</p>
<p>First semester grades are likely too late for ED, but first quarter grade may. Nevertheless, if you do really rely on the late grades, ED is probably not for you. Some HS use online transcript request system like Parchment that you can upload the new transcript and send updates anytime. You may then check if you have the latest grades on the latest transcript you uploaded before re-submission. If your HS send it the old fashion way, then you need to ask your counselor. No one here can answer you.</p>
