Early Evaluation?

I am an international student and Wellesley is high on my list of colleges. I want to apply for Early evaluation, but I don't understand what the Common App says here:
Early Evaluation (EE) - On the Wellesley College Supplement, select Early Evaluation below; on the Common Application, select the Regular Decision option.
Under this it's written:

If you are not a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident and will be applying for financial aid, you must apply under the Regular Decision Plan.

Since I am applying for Financial aid, does this mean I cannot tick EE on the Wellesley supp, or did I just misunderstand this, and it actually means that yes, I can still apply EE and have to tick RD in CA?

Please help, I want to submit my supplement soon.

I think if you’re international and applying for aid, you will HAVE TO do RD

I called the Admissions office about this too. I’m international as well. We have to do RD

Okay, thanks SinFused and Penguinclassics!
It’s too bad though, I really wanted to do EE. Anyway, never mind!

good luck to both of you!! :)

Thank you SinFused! I’ll need it :)
