Early List ideas

It'd be great if a few CC vets could help me sort out my list and give me a few ideas!

Stats:

SAT I: 2340
SAT II: 800, 780, 730

White, Male International from UK

ECs:
-Head of School
-Captain of Rugby team 5 years straight, played county level
-Runner up in 2007 Colorado State Tennis Championships
-Color Sergeant in CCF
-Various community service bits
-Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award
-In process of introducing US Sports Club into my English school

Preferences:
-Prestige
-Urban/Surburban Setting
-Medium to Large Student Body (5,000+)
-Financial Aid may be required, but not much if any
-Sports! Not necessarily Division 1 but a sports program which is worth having. (Evan that of the Ivy's will suffice!)
-No preference on Location in Country
- Probable Major: Classics, History, Poli Sci, Intl. Relations

So far I've got:

Harvard
Yale
Stanford
Duke
Wash @ STL
Columbia
UC Berkeley
Vanderbilt

Any other suggestions to add to my list would be great particularly looking for more matches and safeties!

Good list.

I'm partial to Berkeley.

Consider Michigan and UCLA, too for sports and good academic programs. UC Berkeley and UCLA have same application...so it would increase your chances as an international admit.

If financial aid/scholarship is not a requirement, check out the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

Brown is great for classics. Georgetown is great for IR and has good sports teams (Div 1). How about U Maryland College Park as a safety. Look at Northwestern. If you could give up the sports, University of Chicago would be good. Boston University and George Washington University are two more safeties.

Consider USC. Great sports, urban, right size. Good for a match school.

Thanks so far, anymore ideas?

If you don't mind Division III sports, Tufts certainly fits the bill. Michigan, Wisconsin, and UT Austin also come to mind.

What is your GPA and class rank?
