Early SAT Scores

Hi,
I want to apply early to Yale but I need to take the SAT on November.
I know that the website says they will likely get the scores
but I want to make sure...
Does any current Yalies know how this works??

I hope they do take it!!

anyone???

I can’t speak from experience or anything but I heard that the adcoms will see that you’ve taken the Nov test and just hold off on reading your app until the scores get in. so unless there’s a delay or you filled in the wrong bubble/# for your info, there shouldn’t be a problem.

When a regional admissions officer visited in our city, I was told that they may or may not get the scores in time (since I asked about this) and there is a chance it’s not early enough for SCEA. I don’t know from personal experience, but she (and others) gave me the impression that if your scores don’t make it on time, there is a possibility that you may get deferred to RD. Because of this, I canceled my Nov. retake so this wouldn’t happen.

Feel free to correct me on this, but that’s just what I got the impression of…
