Easier Curve on different dates?

Hello,

I am a junior.

I was originally planning to take the SATI on November. But I realized that that's when all the seniors (who have already taken one SAT and has their last chance) are taking. Quite obviously, the average score is going to be much higher on that date than on, say, January (when seniors no longer can take it).

So my question is, will higher scores on that date make the curve tougher (for example, 1 wrong to get 800 CR, instead of 2 wrong)? And is it worth pushing the test date a month just to get an easier curve?

thanks in advance

See my post and Xiggi's post in this thread

some schools still allow jan/dec scores. this is kind of a moot point, just thought i'd bring it up

thank you for your replies

so what would be considered a reasonable curve on the real test? For example, what's the lowest essay/mulitple choice combination on the writing to still get a 800? For CR and math?
