Easiest and hardest majors at UT?

<p>I'm a junior and I was talking with some friends about what the cake walk / easy majors and the hardest majors are at UT. This sort of comes from experience and what people "think" based on knowing people in some of these majors. These are generalizations of course. I'm a history major for the record!</p>

<p>Easy majors:
Communications studies /science
Public relations
Family sciences / Nutrition / "Human Ecology" (all sorority girls)
Social work
RTF
Sociology
Education
Advertising
Business, except finance
American and other area studies</p>

<p>Hard majors:
Engineering, esp. electrical / aero / chemical
Computer sciences
Math / Physics
Architecture
Plan II
Philosophy (due to intellectually challenging reading and writing)
Chemistry</p>

<p>i’m not a student at UT…but i think majors are self-selective…who would want to do an easy major just because it’s easy? unless maybe you’re focused on law or med school…</p>

<p>I’m a Plan II major and I think it’s really easy and the majority of people in Plan II I know think Plan II classes are easy.</p>

<p>If you can get in to Plan II you’re probably going to think that the Plan II classes are easy.</p>
