My senior schedule is:
AP Literature
AP Stats
AP Language
Teacher Cadet (schools weighs it as AP credit)
AP Human Geography

In order to take AP Stats I had to drop AP Biology, but since it spanned over two class periods my school is requiring me to take another class to fill the void. My options are AP European, AP Art History, or AP Biology. Out of your experience which would you think is the easier one to take? I took APUSH this past year and got a 4 (was probably a high 4, because I felt like I got a low 5). As for the class I got an 87 for the year because I had an insanely hard class, the AP exam seemed like a joke to me. I feel as if I could do well in AP Euro, but I'm taking HG and am not too fond of history. AP Biology. I took honors and finished with an 88. I didn't actually try until the second semester, but since then I feel as if I have become academically stronger. I took AP Chemistry and got a 2 on the exam :/ . I got the 2 all on my own because my teacher wasn't... the best and I also blame myself for not doing more research about the class. I have found online video channels that I can learn from easily and they tackle the format of the AP exam (which is the only reason I got a 2 and not a 1). I just didn't have enough time. Or I can take a regular elective, but the principle told me it would hurt my GPA badly even if I got a 100 in it, especially with my plate full of AP's. I found I tend to do better and try harder in classes I am eager to take. I am excited for all my classes and have a lot of confidence and have already started learning basics in the classes. Any ideas?

I didn’t read the whole thing, but…why Lit and Language? Also, consider your ECs. Seriously. Don’t try to manage all of that. I say Art History. Only if you can do this much.

In fact, you don’t really need to “take” AP Lang/Lit to do well on the test. It’s mostly comprehension, analytical, writing skills that are tested. Those can be achieved without necessarily taking the class. Nevertheless, it still helps a lot to study for what they’re actually looking for on AP.

Last year I took AP psych first semester online and ended with a 97 average without much effort and got a 4 on the AP exam after a semester of rarely looking over the material. All I really had to do for the class was read the textbook (maybe 1-2 chapters max a week), submit vocab with examples each week, and do occasional psych experiments throughout the semester to do formal reports on (but they were super fun), and I would ace all the tests /quizzes which were usually AP style MC and a few FRQ tests. It was definitely one of the best decisions I’ve made my entire high school career so far as it was the only class where I really had a break from my rigorous schedule; all while boosting GPA and gaining me college credit!

I took ap psych last year and the test is known for being insanely easy (I got a five). I know many people that study for it on their own (not even through an online course, but just with a prep book) and still get 5s. Just a suggestion, but your schedule seems pretty full as it is. I wouldn’t worry too much :)

Literally my only options are the ones I listed. Otherwise I would’ve taken AP Psych!! I still remember seeing an FRQ asking how stereotypes contribute to being prejudice against others. [-(
