I am a Freshman and planning to (hopefully) transfer into UT Austin next Fall after I complete my 30 hours. What is the easiest college and what major within that college is the best to apply for to be admitted? Also, what other recommendations do you have for admission as a transfer student? I'm currently a Pre-Med Biology major at the University of Arkansas. Thank you!

Easy: Undeclared in the school of Undergraduate Studies. Put down your first pick and make this your second pick. You get in, prove yourself in a semester, and declare your major of choice if you meet the criteria.

Are you pursuing medical career ? If so, why not focusing on what you are doing at the current college. I heard that medical schools don’t care about UG schools. They care MCAT/GPA/Research/Hospital volunteer activities. If you give up a medical career path or your current college doesn’t provide you enough resources, you can transfer to UT Austin or else. But please establish a career goal although it can be changed later. My 2 cents.

I heard COLA and UGS are the easiest ones
