Does anyone know what are some of the easiest general Ed classes to take at USC?
I will be attending USC as a freshman in engineering this fall.

Sigh…
Ten characters

Or at least interesting…
I don’t want to end up in a boring class…or with a boring professor…

Alamemom, that isn’t 10 characters! How’d you do that???

Hehe invisible text.

As for easiest classes, go on ratemyprofessor and read the ratings. The easier, most popular ones usually have a significant amount of ratings so that you can make an informed decision. However, the easiest ones are usually the most popular and will fill up faster than a more boring, harder one.

I will put a twist on this question to ask — What about interesting general ed classes? While asking for the easiest may not be pc, I do think finding a great class with an interesting professor is the goal. A kid may think medieval times could be interesting and sign up but get a terrible professor and a ton of work, well that isn’t a good combo for a general ed class. I will start, my S took Law, Politics, and Public Policy with writing 140 and it was a lot of work and drier (more boring) than he thought it would be considering he likes each of those topics to some degree. Of course just one opinion, but would like to hear from others on general eds…anybody?

The most interesting and challenging general education courses are found within Thematic Option, but someone looking for “easiest” most likely would not be interested in challenging themselves with TO.
