For any USC students or alumni...

In your opinion, out of the six different categories, which category had the hardest and most tedious classes? I'm asking this because I plan to take a community college course over the summer after I graduate from high school in order to earn credit. I'm just trying to figure out which general ed category I should get out of the way before I attend USC. I have already earned credit for AP Biology so I don't need to take any cat 3 classes.

Thanks!

I would do cat 1 or 2 imo, 5 and 6 are manageable despite being classes with reading/writing requirements. You can also take one category pass/fail so that is another option to get rid of a requirement.

The answer is going to depend on what you are good at/interested in studying. Some GE’s are easy for some, and hard for others. For example, one year D took a bio or neuro class (can’t remember which) for a GE that she found incredibly easy, but other students who were not bio/chem/neuro majors and were simply taking it to check off their GE requirement found it ridiculously hard.
