I am a prospective student for Providence college. I am 100% sure that I want to go to law school after attending a 4 year college/university and I was wondering what the easiest majors are at Providence that requires the least amount of work so that I can bulk up on EC's. I am very strong in English, usually for analytical essay writing but I wasn't sure if a different major made more sense for pre-law. I was thinking about possibly doing Philosophy or History but not really sure. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

Can’t answer your question but what I can say is that every student, regardless of major is required to take their Western Civ. course - it’s a 2 year program that I don’t think would be considered “easy”

As a PC grad, I actually think Western Civ might help you decide. You don’t have to declare anything until your sophomore year, when you can make a better-informed decision. But if you’re in a rush, I was an English major and did not find it particularly challenging. (I think History was more work.) I haven’t heard much about Philosophy.
