Hey guys, I’m a transfer and just got my housing assignment. I’m in East Andrews Hall in a double…

I was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what kind of livin im lookin at. Does the dorm have a reputation for anything, and how is the surrounding area?

You lucked out. It's a pretty nice dorm. You're on the Pembroke side of the campus. That you have a roommate means you likely have either another transfer or, an incoming freshman as a roommate [probably a fellow transfer]

It's probably the nicest dorm that side of the campus.

im around the way in metcalf. see all of you guys soon. judging from the freshman facebook group Pembroke looks to have lots of partiers and beer pongers this year.

JD!! It's me, Rachel. Welcome to CC. (Looks like you've been here a while though, lol)

Andrews is nice, I lived there in a single last year. The doubles are sizeable, but remember, it's dorm living so it's still pretty small generally speaking. There will be one bookshelf between the two of you and pretty big closets with shelves. There are sinks in the room!

As a transfer, you might actually be in one of the converted lounge rooms, which are really big, furnished for 3, carpeted (but it's skanky carpet) and no sinks.

The 0 floor is all girls on the west side and all guys on the east side.
