Easy New National Business Contest? anybody applying?

<p>Hi, all, I was just referred by my friend to this New National Business Contest that apparently is a "very easy national award" for business...well that's what my friend says.</p>

<p>I was looking at the prompts and they're VERY TOUGH. </p>

<p>I told my friend this but he just said that they do that to repel applicants? Apparently, not that many people apply.</p>

<p>Anyways, I did a site search and found nothing on it.</p>

<p>It's free so I thought might as well....I juts turned in my application today.</p>

<p>I’m usually a lurker, but i saw this topic and i needed to post on it so here is my first post</p>

<p>the NOVA contest is VERY easy!!!</p>

<p>True the contest has tough questions but because i’m guessing that since it’s new there won’t be that many pool of applicants.</p>

<p>I remember there was a 05 contest where i was for a short period time. Some of the people I knew placed. And if you look at the 1st National Place winner’s business presentation… Well frankly It isn’t the best… not enough to be a national winner. Probably since they had such a meager pool of apps.</p>

<p>I’m guessing if some qualified ppl apply they would easily be able to place.</p>

<p>Did you place in the NOVA Challenge Business Contest in '05? Is it true that it was a very easy contest?</p>

<p>I didn’t place but some of my friends placed in the contest a while back.</p>

<p>I have to say since there aren’t many people familiar with the Nova Challenge Business Contest not many will apply and any slightly qualified person could easily win a national award.</p>

<p>I encourage you to apply my friends go it pretty easy</p>

<p>My Friends didn’t have the best GPA and awards put them through to the top. Nova challenge business contests was one of the awards which helped them.</p>

<p>They didn’t even need to try since there were barely any applications. I’m not sure where they went but I’m sure that the Nova Challenge helped and didn’t hurt their application they probably went to a good college.</p>

<p>hmm…I’m going to work on one of the events. The corporate management one for NOVA Challenge seems the hardest of all the business contest prompts :/</p>

<p>I have to admit the Nova Challenge Business Contest website is pretty sleek.
Signing up for the Competitions is easy too. </p>

<p>Their contests are open till the end of May i think</p>

<p>I’d have to say that the nova challenge enterprise leadership looks the most difficult. That prompt is the longest and has a bunch of factors which affect the situation.</p>

<p>I sorta like the Nova Challange Personal Finance contest since i’ve read a book on it and the promp seems managable.</p>

<p>I’d say that the most fun prompt for the Nova Challenge Business Contest is probably enterprise career portfolio. You just get to brag about how qualified you are, should be pretty easy</p>

<p>Seriously you guys should go and check out the National [NOVA</a> Challenege](<a href=“http://www.novachallenge.org%5DNOVA”>http://www.novachallenge.org) winner from 05… their business plan sucks…It would prolly be easy to win with even a mediocre plan.</p>
