Currently, a student at a US 100 competitive in-state high school, I have an extremely light senior load and will get a 'B' in only 1 AP that I am taking for this semester. I am not taking a hard senior year load and only 5 classes. Will this look bad on my application since I applied early action not to mention the fact that I am located in the bottom 50th percentile at my high school, even with a decent unweighted GPA. I am not applying to the Engineering school since I heard it is very difficult to get in, but with a 25 ACT score, how hard (and how likely) would it be to get into the General College this year considering the fact that the mid 50% statistics have really increased and I don't fall within the mid 50% in terms of GPA, class rank and my ACT score?
