Seriously, anyone tried it before. I personally thought it was delicious and really tasty. I was just wondering what other people who've tried it think. I've heard some different opinions and was wondering if you guys had any input.

It tasted like a raccoon and a cat combined.

hmmm....

is this a chinese food restaurant joke?

heh i ate a lot of it once. i was in china and it was in a soup and i didn't know what it was until after dinner when i asked him why the beef tasted old. i sort of gagged. it did sort of taste like raccoon and cat, although i have never tried them before.

It tastes hard.

never tried it before but i really really want to

my mom tells me its the most delicious meat out there. maybe you guys just had poorly cooked dog meat.

it is verry oily. However, the thought that you are eating a dog make me sicken..

you'llsee, it's not really a joke I was just curious as to what different people think about dog meat. I personally thought it was very delicious. It was really chewy so the flavor lasted longer. It seems only a few people actually liked the taste as the majority of my friends didn't really like it that much. I ate it last year in a resturaunt in korea-thought it was illegal, but it seemed pretty legit and clean.

My dad told me once when he was a kid he had a little dog and one day it disappeared. He and his parents (my grandparents) suspected someone kidnapped it and ate it, b/c supposedly that's what people did to dogs like 35 years ago in Taiwan.

My mom also has this friend who ate deer meat and said it was really tasty. This conversation was sparked when they saw roadkill by the side of the road and the friend remarked what a waste of meat it was that the townships just threw away deer meat.

i think its illegal

there was a period of time I thought hot dogs really contained dog meat.

I think it should be about as illegal as eating pork or beef.

Probably getting slightly off topic, but I've also seen frog legs at buffets (in the U.S.). My dad took some and was eating them but I was kind of grossed out seeing the little webbed feet and stuff.

I've also seen rabbits sold at Asian food markets (for eating). T.T Poor rabbits.

yeah dog meat is really gross and oily. frog meat isn't bad though.

Yeah frog meat tastes exactly like chicken. Honestly, if someone hadn't told me what I ate was frog meat I would've assumed it was chicken. Damn now that I'm talkin about it I've realized that my dream is to to eat every animal(except the poisonous ones and humans). I'm goin for it!
