EC Advice?

I’m in grade 11, half white half Asian, and I want to want to go to one of the “elite” US schools, but my EC list is really pathetic (my marks and course load are on par at least):
-Hockey (I’ve played since Elementary School)-I’ll probably be a captain or alternate captain next year on my team.
-Football Team at School (9-11)-There’s a chance I’ll be one of the captains next year.
-Rugby Team at School (9-11)
-School Leadership (grade 9 and 11)-I should be an “executive” next year (they don’t let grade 11s do it)
-Guitar (grade 9-11)
Very little volunteer work at this point.

Is it too late to turn it around? If not, do you have any advice for more ECs (keep in mind I don’t have too much available where I live).

Also, this is assuming I do really well on my SATs.

Bump

Need more info: GPA, class rigor, AP scores, SAT II scores, region of country, intended major, school list.

Are you good enough to get recruited at any of the sports above? Harvard has a girls rugby team that is always looking for good players.

We need more details but most people on here list similar EC’s… not amazing, but average.

@ItsHydro I’m only asking about ECs in this post. Do you have any tips of how it could become “amazing”?

@RoyalFlush100 Do things that most people don’t do. I’m not talking about regional/national contests, or things like quizbowl. Those things are basic and very common.

My EC’s and lots of other people I know IRL include coding. We code iOS Apps, Google Glass Apps, and code websites. We also go to the eBay & Paypal Headquarters frequently to do some programming.

Not a lot of people can say that, right?

Do something that not a lot of people do! But also something you love doing!
