Ec dillema!

Hey guys I have come across a problem. For the last 3 years now I have been apart of my schools Cross Country team. The first 2 years were great, but now we have this new coach who has made this year horrible. I now have no shot of captain, nor do I even attempt to try hard.
But the problem is that I know colleges care for commitment. I am going to be captain of Indoor Track, which I have done for 4 years, but I just cannot see myself standing to go to Cross Country next year as a senior. Should I just quit Cross Country and not go back next year and focus on then like my college essays? Or should I get the 4th year down for my college resume and suffer through at least part of one more season?

Thanks!

Guys I am not the perfect student so I really wanna know how much of a factor it its in the admissions process! BUMP

This is so pathetic. Why do you have to be captain?

You shouldn’t even be worrying about that. You should be trying your hardest to help your team be successful. Your coach isn’t making it horrible, he’s probably just mad because you aren’t trying.

I say don’t be on the team if you are going to be a cancer to it instead of a positive member.
