It seems that these days colleges don't like seeing a lot of ECs. I do have two big passions and many of my activities relate, but my school also has clubs that meet during the school day every three weeks or so and other random stuff. Does it look bad to have a bunch of other random activities that you do because you like?

For example- about 70% of my activites relate to one of two main interests, but the other 30% is some stuff that I do for fun, to hang out with people, to learn something different, etc. I think I have a healthy balance of passionECs/avarietyofECs, but I was wondering if that may pose a problem, since colleges look down on the old laundry list, even though I wouldn't do any of them if I didn't like and I participate at least a little in each one, most, even the 30% ones I participate quite a bit, even at some small leadership levels. Is this okay??

I hope this makes sense. Thanks!
