Does penn state look at ur EC's its not listed as their criteria

We attended an info session at psu. They said that they are largely driven by statistics. If, based on your gpa and SAT's, you're definitely in, they don't look at the EC's. And if you're out they don't look at them. But if for some reason you're not definitely in or out, they will look at the EC's and the personal statement to help them make the call.

damn lol

would a 1910 SAT and a 3.8-3.9 GPA with like 8 AP's get me in?

(1280 with just math and cr)

my EC's were really where all my strength was

yes you'll get in.......i got a 1200 and a 3.0 GPA(yes i know.....i should have taken high school A LOT more seriously) but i was lucky enough to get accepted........my ethnicity probably played a role....i only moved to the U.S in the 11th grade...and took the SAT once....i did pretty well for someone who wasn't very strong in diction.......and for someone who had to adjust to the US curriculum........

but YES...you're in.......and if you dont get in, APPEAL LIKE CRAZY....GO TO THE SCHOOL WITH YOUR DAD,ETC....IT "REALLY" HELPS.....my friend did it and got in.......PSU admires a students tenacity.........
