<p>I got TA offer from Purdue and RA offer from UC Davis. I know in term of
reputation Purdue is far more better than Davis. But the professor gave me
offer is a IEEE fellow and all of his graduated student went to big name
companies. I am struggling where to go. Any opinions would be greatly

<p>well, since it is pretty even on both side, i would suggest you go to the university closest to you!</p>
<p>Not sure how an ECE Ph.D works but the department extends offers, not individual professors and I wouldn’t advise going to a school because of a singular professor. Have at least a few that you could see yourself working with in case your “dream” research group doesn’t pan out.</p>
