UCD Vs. Purdue

Hi, can anyone suggest which of the 2 schools is better for engineering. Especially for aerospace engineering.

I think Purdue has a better program, but at the same time, its undergraduate education we're talking about, so as long as the school is ABET accredited, there isn't much difference. Graduate school-wise, I do think Purdue is better though.

Purdue is better overall in pretty much every engineering field except maybe Agriculuture.

You should also factor in cost, whether you are in state or out of state (over $40k difference).

Another important thing is where you plan on getting a job (level, and type). Smaller companies may not recognize certain schools or have very little knowledge about it.

Where's Purdue?

Purdue is in West a Lafayette IN. Home of the Boilermakers, It's in kind of a charming and cool part of Indiana but sorry...it's no UCD
