Ecology curve? (SAT II Biology)

I have always heard that ecology has a better curve than molecular. According to Barron's you can get a 73 raw score and get an 800 for ecology and a 76 raw score and get an 800 for molecular. But today I looked at CollegeBoard's Official Study Guide for SAT Subject Tests and it says for both you have to score at least a 77 for an 800. Can anyone provide input on what it really is?

I'm more comfortable with molecular but I do better on ecology with the curve. I saw that someone answered both and just selected ecology or molecular at the end of the test. Is this a good strategy for me?

CollegeBoard has it right, as always. It’s 77 for an 800 for both. The curve is a tiny bit more forgiving for M (-20 for a 700 as opposed to -19 for E), but there’s hardly any difference. If you’re more comfortable with molecular I would definitely go for M.
