I know there's like a million of these threads, and yes, I have looked at a lot of them, but I just want to clarify a couple things:

1: The barron's book is wrong, right? The curve on Ecology is harsher than that of Molecular, I believe.
2: If one was to get 5 core questions wrong and get all the ecology questions right, that would be a lower score than if one was to get 5 core questions wrong and get all the molecular questions right. Is this correct?

These two things above I couldn't figure out, so if someone could answer, that'd be great. thanks.

The differences in the “curve” (which it really isn’t) represents the increased difficulty of the molecular. So, the likelihood that you would get a few molecular items wrong is greater than getting a few ecology questions wrong – because of the differences in the scaling, you would earn the same grade.
