Which is harder: Economics or Finance? What are the difference of job?? People told me that they were quite similar, however I'm not sure which degree would be more useful in the business field.

Finance is usually located in Business school while econ major usually has its own department. If you are going to job market directly after graduation, a business degree may help. But some top companies hire employees regardless of their undergraduate major. They do care about the quantitative and analytical background in investment banks and commercial banks; therefore a science degree is even better.

If you would do graduate studies in business (including finance), you may pick up you undergraduate major with reference to the following pecking order: maths or physics or engineering> economics > finance. In fact, most successful PhDs in Finance have solid math background, I mean, undergraduate education in calculus, advanced algebra, real analysis, topology, statistics, probability theory, functional analysis, random process, measure theory, and so on.
