Econ and international relations

Does anyone know the strength of the Economics and International Relations programs at Penn? I’m trying to decide between Penn and JHU. I know that JHU is generally regarded as having the best IR program in the country, but their econ program is not as strong. Any help would be great. Thanks

I just read that the Econ department at Penn is among the top 10 in the nation. There IR department is also renowned. I plan on double majoring in the two.

Is there an actual ranking for undergraduate IR programs?

It's important to separate grad rankings from undergrad rankings...ESPECIALLY in the case of JHU when the IR grad school is located in D.C. and not actually at Baltimore

I reading information on the Econ department under undergraduate majors, so I assume that their "Top 10" ranking is undergraduate. I didn't know that ranked Econ/IR programs either.

JHU IR ranking higher than Penn's. Penn's econ higher than JHU. That said, combining rankings of both programs, Penn will probably come out higher.
But aside from all this talk about rankings, have you considered campus and student life?

Dont be silly, rankings are all that matters in life....
