Econ at UMBC or UMCP? My chances?

I know UMBC has lots of social science graduates and all but I was wondering whether if I should major in econ in UMBC or UMCP.

My current GPA is 3.5 in a 4.0 scale and I've been getting A and A- all year, so my GPA will rise at the end of this year. I got A- in AP microeconomics, I struggled calculus ab a bit so I'm concerned about Calc grade. I haven't took the SAT yet but when I did practice exams, I got around 1750. Can I get into UMBC?

Bump. Anyone?

You can get into UMBC with those stats. You need to figure out what you really want to do because Econ can be very hard or very easy depending on what track you take. To be prepared for graduate work you need a lot of calculus and other higher math.

Thank you!

So what did you decide? How is your current college for Econ?
