Hey everyone, quick question for people who may be educated on this topic. Is it extremely difficult for someone with a degree in Economics (from LSA) to get a job because of all of the Ross kids who are also getting jobs in the similar field? Also would it look better to get an Econ degree from The University of Michigan or a business degree from schools like Wisconsin or Indiana???
First off don’t worry about the Ross people. It’s great for them. But you can get many degrees at Michigan that lead to amazing jobs in business if that what you want. Create your own path. There is tons of overlap between many business field sectors. My son’s in engineering and has most likely done more business things his first year then the Ross kids. If you want it,you can get it at Michigan and they will support you in just about every way and the alumni thing at Michigan is for real.
