Econ Major for these schools

I wondering if anybody can give me some insight as to which school has the better economics program and rating them among the schools listed.

I'm transfering in fall 2010.

Let's play the "what if" game.

So what if I make it into all these schools:
Columbia University
New York University(in college of arts/science, not stern)
Cornell University(most likely not ILR, but college of arts/science)
UCB(again,college of arts/science)
UCLA

Which would be the best choice for an econ major? How would you rank the schools? Consider that I also want to pursue grad school. And the fact that I WILL need financial aid.

(I'm pretty sure my first choice would be Columbia, but what I'm mainly concerned about is the rest of the schools other than Columbia)

thanks in advance

If you need financial aid, I’d cross off NYU from your list. If you’re from CA, I’d probably go with one of the UC’s. Otherwise, I’d choose Columbia based off the prestige which should help in getting a job if you decide not to pursue grad school immediately.

Cornell AEM major

^^
What about the Cornell AEM major though?
How does it compare to coming out of UCB with an econ major or UCLA with an econ major?
