econ undergrad(ED1)

sup guys, I was just wondering what are my chances to get into emory for econ, applying ed1

We don’t know (you posted no stats or ECs and even if you did, we wouldn’t be able to tell) and Emory doesn’t actually care of your intended major. They would more so be trying to control the amount of outright pre-profs. coming in, but not by major

im just wondering how easy is it for someone to get into emory for econ ed 1

Yes…but that is basically asking: “Does Emory care about your intended major?”. You should be asking: “How easy is it to get into Emory ed1”. Emory doesn’t care about your intended major. Being econ will not help or hurt. If Emory were to have the same amount of apps. as last year, then your chances would be 35-40% for admission. If it is like previous years (the ebola “bump” goes away), then 40-45% chance. Hope that the ebola bump goes away. Also, we don’t know how easy it is because people who would be within the 75% in terms of ACTs/SAT and solid EC’s were actually denied or waitlisted and those (we are talking about non-minorities) with lower stats were admitted. Go look over in the old ED1 and ED2 threads. All we can say is between 35-45% depending on the applicant pool, but we can’t say anything about the characteristics other than, “they don’t care about major”. With that said, it may not be as easy as those percentages suggest.
