<p>What? What's a "talking point"? Like, bullets giving reasons to support the position?</p>
<p>-Evens out the playing field - gives poorer people the edge they need to compete with richer people in the admissions game
-Creates more economic turnover - theoretically, this policy allows those at the bottom of the socioeconomic ladder to climb up if they so wanted - capitalism at its best, folks
-Isn't racist, doesn't operate under racist assumptions that blacks/hispanics are poor, thus doesn't perpetuate the stereotype
-There are more reasons I'm sure; others can add onto the list</p>
<p>And you can add most of the advantages of AA as a whole, because economic AA gains them as well.</p>
