Okay, I went to the freshmen orientation on June 24-25th.
I signed up for the FIG.
I signed up for the one with Econ 200 and English. I will be majoring in accounting.
I found that my Econ professor will be Greg Ellis and
according to Rate My Professors, it seems that he maybe a tough professor.

So, anyone who have taken or heard about Professor Greg Ellis and his econ 200
class please share any information.

Would it be wise to avoid this professor? Please, give me any suggestions!

I was a freshman last year and I did the exact same fig as you, although im not sure what english you’re in, I took eng. 131.

Ellis is tough but not unreasonably. I was able to 4.0 it although it did take a lot of time, as you have potential for a quiz each friday (or whenever your qz section is). Just pay attention to his lectures, don’t skip and just read the book like some people say and you’ll be fine.

@cman8123 do you remember what the cuttoff for a 4.0 was when you took it?

It depends. I got a 96.5/100 and I ended up getting a 3.9.
