<p>Well I can't speak from experience, but from what I've heard from friends is that a lot of the people in Econ are those who did not get in at the business school. I'm not sure if this is true overall, but it's what I've heard.</p>
<p>That said, if you're actually interested in Econ, I'm sure it's fine, but perhaps someone with more first-hand knowledge will let us know.</p>
