Economics degree vs finance degree

As a career, I’m looking into going into investment banking, or another finance/banking related job. I was wondering if an economics degree from the university of Michigan or a finance degree from The broad buisness school at Michigan state would be better for this.

Do a double major like what I’ll do. They both overlap enough.

Btw, IB is a terrible idea. You’re not going to last 2 years there.
