I am planning on doing individual study on Economics next year. It is still going to be on my transcript..but is it that of a benefit. Or should I start self studying right now and take the AP exam in May. I am planning on majoring in business and economics btw. 10x for the replies in advance.

how will it be on your transcript? also, what is your plan for individually studying it next year because I am interested in doing the same thing? Anyone else?

you have to take the AP Exam to prove yourself, what grade are you though? if you're a junior then yes, AP exam it is :( if you're a sophmore then you'll be slightly faired better..

goddamimt i really have to study start soon.

I am a sophomore right now and indepedent studies at our school system count as one credit and is going to be on my transcript, but I have to keep a log of how many hours I study and if I fullfill all the requirments then I will receive a grade from my sponser. Well, I don't really have a plan...my sponser used to be an ap economics teacher before and also used to be one of the teachers who grade the free responses on the ap exam. She has enought ws and hand outs for me. I have to meet with her for short sessions. So do you guys think that I should do it? I am definitely going to take the ap exam...the question is should I start self studying right now or do it as an independent study next year?
