Hey all,
I just have a quick question about NU’s economics and mathematics programs. Are the two a difficult combo if they were taken in major/minor form (respectively)? Is the academic environment very cutthroat, stressful, and dreary? Will a degree from this combination be good for a job centered around investment banking or bulge bracket companies in Chicago or finance based locations like New York?
Quick Side note: I am decent in math, but am not extremely passionate about it. I have gotten As on all of my higher level honors/pre-AP/AP math courses (incl. Stats AP, Pre-Cal Pre-AP, Alg 2 Pre-AP, etc.), but currently have an 85 in Calculus BC. Should I even consider getting a math minor in NU?
Thank you!
