Economics/Math at Williams and some other stuff...

I'm thinking about double majoring in economics and math, and probably working in some business-related field after college (maybe i-banking). How do these two majors at Williams compare to the top schools such as Princeton, Harvard, MIT, etc?

Also, I know Williams is very reputable for placing their graduates in the top Grad schools. But I actually want to work right after undergrad for a couple of years and then tackle Grad school, so I want to know how is Williams for career prospects, especially business-related? Is Williams well-known among the big companies? Internships over the summer? Do a lot of ibanks recruit on campus? What's the average starting salary for an economics major going into ibanking, etc, etc.

Economics and Math are both great departments at Williams. They compare favorably with any other college in the country, so I wouldn't worry about that when making your decision.

Now, job-placement wise, Williams networking happens to be particularly strong in the business/i-banking world. Williams alumns are incredibly dispraportionately represented in the business community, and will always help you find a job. Ibanks do recruit on campus, tons of students do business internships over the summer, and student job placement is as good, if not better, than any other college in the country.
