How good is the economics program at Georgetown - like what type of jobs can you expect after graduating? Does anyone know?

I imagine that it is pretty good. Economics really has to faces: political and business. If you are interested in business, I imagine it is pretty strong because of the business school. I am not too familiar with the business school. I am certain that the political economics is great though (it is in Washington D.C.).

There is a major called Political Economics, or something similar.

The Economics department at Georgetown is known for being quite difficult. As for Econ majors you have: Economics, Political Economy, & International Economics as majors to choose from.

*I believe there is an International Political Economy major as well.

Tough curve… 25% A/A-s, which is especially tough because you get a lot of people that just gets right away…

In terms of jobs, a lot of econ majors go on to Wall Street jobs, consulting… similar opportunities as MSB kids…
