Economics

Ok, so I never took economics before, and all my school has is a lame senior elective. However, I think I may like it so thought I might want to self-study one this year and one next year (maybe both this year if I'm adventurous).

I found a free online text to Glencoe's Economics: Principles and Practice
Should I buy a different book?

Also, I have NO experience of economics except a little basic terms from Global Class (think Industrial Revolution and Adam Smith and stuff). Will a basic text and a good review book (which?) earn me a 5?

I've selfed Euro and easily got a 5 with little prep.

Any other advice?
How hard/time-consuming would all the matierial be? I don't wasn to spend TOO much time on this- it's more of an interest/thing. Because I decided music theory is going to wait a year.

Thanks
Katia

Also- if I had to choose one- which is easier/recommended first- Macro or Micro?

Anyone? Just curious. . .

Is it something I said?

Micro is an expansion of (and builds on) Macro. I am taking both APs using the 15e of McConnell and Brue's Economics.

Thank you. I think I may get another text; however, this one is free. . .

You see I'm concerned because I have never actually taken an Economics class. . .

it's not hard...i like economics cuz everything is graphs and concepts. i didnt memorize much cuz i just drew the graphs and got the answer from looking at it.

I like this website http://reffonomics.com/
our teacher used it to prepare us for the AP test and half of our class got 5's

Does Micro really build on Macro? In both our intro course and the IB econ course in high school Micro is taught before Macro.
