I need your opinoins on something. I am self studying micro/macro economics since my school does not have them, and have 2 books on it(both how to prepare for the AP exam). I was wondering if there are any other books I should get to help me get a 4 or 5 on the exam or are The Princeton Review and Barrons studies good enough? Thanks.

Use different media it will make the studying interesting. Use these websites:

www.tutor2u.net (this is a british website but the free presentations are incredibly awesome. The forums are great and the materials are written by econ grad students from London School of Economics, Oxford and Cambridge)

www.sparknotes.com (they have an econ review. They are good for the basics)

Cliff Notes AP (excellent makes the learning worthwhile.)

Also keep up with the news and current events as they can only help you.

I self-studied micro (was in a macro course), and Barron's and PR were enough without additional material.

id always feel more comfortable with a text when self studying a course.

what text book do you guys recommend?

I reccomend Prinecton Review, it is truly the best out there. However, they tend to use different graphs, which doesn't really matter because the macro test doesn't really focus on graphs.

In terms of text books, I'd go with BAUMOL or TOLLISON. Both are excellent books.

What really matters though is learning to do the free-response section of the exams...transponders and such
