<p>Would it be a good idea to mention on my app. that an album review I wrote was published on an online magazine and also that I won an honorable mention for a photo I entered in a DeviantART.com sponsored contest?</p>

<p>You should definitely mention them, but I'm not sure if they'd count as ECs. The second one would probably be better listed as an award, but I'm not sure about the first.</p>
<p>Academic awards? I was planning on just mentioning them in the Additional Info. section along with other misc. things that didn't belong with my activities</p>
