ED 2 to Vassar!

I applied ED 2 to Vassar, and sent in my stuff a while ago [early December]. I sent the application in via Common App, and I'm sure that they got it. However, I'm really paranoid that they didn't recieve my suppplement. I called and the person said that they would send me something if they are missing it. Thing is, I haven't been sent a single thing from Vassar, not even something saying they got my stuff. Should I be worried?

Also, do you know when ED 2'ers are sent their decisions? I know it says late January, but does anyone have a date?

Don't worry, I haven't received anything yet but the e-mail saying that they have my common app. Then again, I'm an international student.

And as for the decisions, I would expect first week of February rather than late January as I've heard some decisions come around that time. Good luck!

Hey vemafe, i'm an int'l, too. Do u know if we'll get email notification or snail mail like everyone else?

Well from what I've heard is that if you're accepted, we'll get to know by e-mail. I don't know about deferred or rejected international applicants so if I don't get an email after the first week of February I'll assume the worst... but then again, I'm not sure if this is the case... we might get an e-mail saying that we got deferred or rejected.

I sent in all my stuff on Dec. 29 and haven't gotten any confirmation at all. Not even an email! Why do they hate me?

I don't think they do confirmation, efg88. I just emailed them last week and they replied that my app is complete (I sent it in on Dec 28). You just have to ask 'em yourself ;) Gluck!

ok I will email them and check. Thanks for the tip.

A good sign that they have all your materials is that an admissions lady actually called me on the phone last week to let me know she didn't have my teacher rec. So most likely you're good and they'll tell you if they need somethin! good luck!

Yeah, they're pretty good about getting to you about missing materials. Still, email is a great way to ask just to be sure.
