ED Admissions

I was wondering roughly what percentage of out of state applicants are accepted ED. I assume its less than RD, but I know its low in general. Also, I guess they accept about 30 something percent overall in ED, so what percentage of the remaining applicants are defered and and percent are rejected? I was defered from o-o-s, so i was just trying to get a feel for where i stand.

what are your stats? i am an out of stater too applying, but RD

its a private school so i would think the rates would be about equal for instate and out of state

UVA's a public university, not a private one, hence the differentiation between in-state and out-of-state.

1490; 3.5-3.6 uw 4.0w; soso ec's; good essays, recs; sister goes to uva (don't think this carries too much weight). Deferred ED, from out of state, I guess we'll see how it goes RD. I still have to decide where else to apply, Wake and Duke I've decided so far, but I guess i need safeties...

Accepted ED - 1440, 3.75w, hockey & lacrosse player forever, NHS and french NHS president, brother goes there, from northern Virginia.

Wouldn't in-commonwealth be more appropriate than in-state?

commonwealth = state
