Hey NU people,
I’ve been admitted ED. What are ALL of the next steps I’d have to take in the next few weeks?
I know that they tell you to 1) make a NetID 2) check FA 3) pay deposits 4) send transcript, but is there anything else to do for the next few months (until may)?
Congratulations - but RELAX! Enjoy your holidays season, your admission, buy or get gifted some purple, and realize that NU has done this a few times before - and probably won’t forget to email you about the next important steps. Yes, you will be tested, but it’s stuff you can do with your PC. Go Cats!
FAFSA will be available January 1. Take care of that, and make a list of all other upcoming FA dates. Make sure your parents are tuned into those dates, especially when tax forms need to be sent.
Do you have to formally accept the ED offer? By signing something, paying a deposit by a certain deadline?
Are you sure that it is affordable for your family?
Then don’t you have to withdraw your applications to all other schools?
@mommdc I have already withdrawn all other applications and my family is sure that it’s affordable.
so other than paying the deposit and transcript, I can just relax until may, right @nugraddad ?
They will send you incredibly detailed info about what you need to do - over the next few months. For right now, just relax, enjoy and start stocking up on purple!
