I am applying ED to Pton and was wondering whether the fact that you visited or didnt visit the school has an importance in their decision on your application.
thanks.

I went to a Dartmouth info session and they said that they don't track your interest. They basically implied that they don't need your interest, but that's beside the point. I think that Princeton will have a similar attitude.

Also, you are applying ED...how can you show more interest than that.

If you live in New England/anywhere close to NJ, then I'd reccommend visiting, if only to verify your decision. Otherwise, Princeton will see that you live far away and won't expect you to visit.

well i live kinda close, i.e. NY, meaning Princeton is like 2.5 hrs away on train. However, I never thought about it in the summer and now that the deadline for ED approaches, I realized i need to visit, but I'm far too busy with school to lose a day. I already know that Princeton has a beautiful campus and I know that I would love it there. I would hate to visit, just because "it looks good."

Then you'll be fine. There is nothing more that you can do to show interest than applying ED, and if you get deferred (hopefully not :)) your application will be tagged as having applied ED. Hope that helps.

Yes, your posts did help alot. Thanx for the info :)
