<p>So I appled ED to Cal Poly and I’m pretty much driving myself insane waiting for a response! So for all my fellow ED’ers, how are you guys feeling at this point? Does anyone know what the earliest we’ll start finding out is? Maybe this can relieve a little of the butterflies in my stomach haha. Oh and does anyone know if there is any truth to the fact that the earlier you applied the earlier you find out? cause i applied on the 1st and that would be awesome!</p>
<p>Oh i know exactly how you feel! ive been checking my admission status constantly…i’ve been so worried i wont make it in!=/ and I don’t think that we find out based on how early we applied. it would make more sense if we found out by major. i think because they compare us only to people in our major that everyone from the same major will find out at the same time.</p>
<p>I applied ED for bio on Oct 1st. I was nervous for maybe 1-2 weeks. But then, my calc and physics grade went down, so I’ve spent the last month worrying about calc and physics and less so on college.</p>
<p>man, everyday i come home wating for that letter haha</p>
<p>Yeah, I read last year’s results and people started getting notified on Dec 7th. So I’m not going to think about this till then.haha.</p>
<p>yea im thinking its by major now too, and i’m constantly checking the cal poly portal thing too! haha but okay i MUST focus on other things! and i was reading last year’s stuff and I read that this one guy found out on december 5th…so that would be good!</p>
<p>Oh man, I know how you feel. My nerves have been going crazy over it. My only real comfort is in knowing that I’ve seen all of three people applying to my major (Graphic Communications) as opposed to the many I’ve seen and know are applying to engineering.</p>
<p>But we’ve all done what we could up to this point, so I guess there’s no sense in going crazy anymore. The wait’s pretty painful, but I’ve just been keeping occupied with music and whatnot. Best of luck to everyone, and don’t go too insane. ;)</p>
<p>Im with you there guys. I think early december is when it should start coming but I still check it daily anyways, haha. Im even more stressed because my GPA is low for engineering but ive got good SATs and rigorous classes that I’m hoping get me in.</p>

<p>I checked with Admissions last week. Apparently no need to check the portal until after Nov 15th since people can change their application to ED up to that date. After that it could be posted any time on/before Dec 15th which is when you will know if you got in or were deferred to Reg. Decision. They said the portal is the best place to check.</p>
<p>If it helps, my son saw on the portal that he was accepted ED on December 5th last year. Good luck - I know how stressful this can be …</p>
<p>ME TOOOOOO OMG SO SCARED!!! =.=!!! i did architectural engineering, kinda wondering who else did tht too, cause i only saw a couple.</p>
<p>and now we are finally reaching the endpoint where everyone starts finding out! lets all keep are fingers crossed!</p>
