I got in ed!

I got into Cal Poly ED as a mathematics major! I found out today. I am so excited! Female, 4.15 GPA, 25 ACT, many extracurricular activities.

Me too - just checked cal poly web site application status and it says I'm in. Can't believe it .... good luck to everyone!!

My son just got in too - electrical engineering.

He didn't get an email, he just checked the mycalpoly page.

Congrats to all of you and good luck next year.

What majors..? anyone in the agriculture dep.?

Materials Engineering here ...

my page says no determination has been made at this time...but the page changed since last time,

now there is a class course catalog and a financial aid section.

oh. wow. Admissions already for ED.
I applied civil engineering, but it says no determination has been made.

anyone know when the rest of use will find out?

maybe they only have decided on specific majors so far...thats my guess

i hope not. i applied ed to architecture, and i know some of those people have already found out. now i'm more nervous knowing people from the same major have already been accepted. o man.

I got in 12/6 under animal science

luckyducky what were your stats if you don't mind me asking. My DD applied to animal science w/ a 3.7 and a 26 ACT

I honestly think they wait until the UC deadline Nov 30th therefore they can collect your $ applying to UC,s because you dont know if you got early decision or not.

Gpa- 3.89
sat- 1800
act- 26

The conditional acceptance says that you must complete all your senior classes with a grade of C or better. Does anyone know for sure if a grade of 'C-' for one semester is OK? Or do they mean any form of a 'D' grade will cause you to lose your admission? Thanks.

D got a C- in Calculus both semesters. We called admissions and they said so long as it wasn't a D she was ok. This was 2 years ago so you might call admissions just to double check.

I checked with admissions. A C- is OK for freshmen, but not for transfers.

I got in ED for animal science =]

I was accepted into the College of Architecture too!
