<p>Ok, here it is. I'm getting ready to send out soon, and i'm nervous about it. just want a little feedback. thanks in advance for anything/everything</p>

<p>Ohio school, a few ivies per year, graduate of Harvard ‘95
Caucasian male; father owns small law firm, mother is real estate agent/golf instructor</p>

<p>I’ve wanted to go to CU for 3 years, I have visited twice and I loved it there</p>

I was trying to recall them off the top of my head, but I looked them up here</p>

<p>You look like the profile of the standard admittee. The essay ought to be a knock-out. You're not an Intel science fair finalist or anything godly, so you're competing against a few thousand people whose profile look like yours. Your activities show a lot of breadth rather than depth, which is not what they like to see - so you have an opportunity to play up your passion for something. What will set you apart will be demonstrated passion for learning or something specific. Passion is the key word. Find something you truly care about deeply and write about it with emotion - it will shine through and make yours "not just another dull read".</p>
