Eloquence, i'm sure they have a grace period of a day or two for these deadlines... or else they would seem really cutthroat. I think you'll be okay.

Hopefully, I don't wanna be rejected due to some sort of technical rules at least, lol.

OP: "I applied early for Huntsman and Wharton was my single choice."

You can do that? Like apply for joint and single school?

Yep... since the joint degree programs are so selective (which is just another way of saying it's impossible to get in) ;) they let the applicant choose something to "fall back on" because the chances of actually getting into a dual/joint degree program are so slim. Just that notion makes me feel great about myself. (that was sarcasm right there... in case you didn't know) :D

Just realized I forgot to mail in the Early Decision agreement. I guess I'll have to call tomorrow!

ED Fisher. Single choice Wharton (I didn't tick the consider me for Wharton ED though)

ED Wharton-Huntsman. crosses fingers and wills December to come FASTER

ED WHARTON!

I'll either be ecstatically happy on Dec 15, or... let's not think about the "or"

i got my interview last week, the guy emailed me one day after i submitted my part 1 in. amazing. not alumni. just got lucky i guess =)

there are about 6 people at my super-nerdy school applying early for Penn, 4 of which are Wharton. D:

GOODLUCK to all of you!

ED Wharton too!

ed huntsman to ed wharton. yaaaay. :-)

I'm certain I'm the only person from my 820-senior class school who applied to Penn, ED or RD, and I'm probably one of the few who's even heard of it at my school, lol.

Hopefully it works in my favor >_>

Wow, my school is so different. EVERYONE at my school knows about how great Penn is. There are so far at least 6 people applying to Penn, 5 of which are applying to Wharton. I'm the only one applying to the College, and another person and I are applying ED.

I know of 4 people at my school applying to Wharton, at least another 6 or 7 to CAS, and 2 to Nursing, and almost all of them are doing ED. Yep, Penn is pretty popular around here.

Early to Wharton. This is going to be the best Christmas ever or the worst one in recent memory. Can't wait much longer!

Heheh isabella, my school is in a no-name town in Texas, most kids here go to U of H/UT/A&M or community college, not even joking o.o

It seems people arent the happiest when many people from their school apply...does it make a difference? is a qualified applicant a qualified applicant or will they limit how many they take from each school? Is it a benefit that I'm the only person applying from a ~4500 person school?

It does help, in the sense that Penn doesn't want to take 50 people from the same school, and also, you won't be compared to the other applicants from your school. So, if you're 10th in your class, and the person who is second in your class applies, Penn will see that, and the other person probably will have a better chance of getting in.

Anyways, ED to Wharton for me. I know there are two or three other people applying RD from my 300-person senior class, but as far as I know I'm the only one applying ED, or applying to Wharton. We've sent one person a year for the last three years to Penn--all of them were recruited athletes, though.

ED Wharton. Can't wait lol.

Wharton,

Just did my interview today, it lasted 45 minutes. The other kids from my school (All CAS) had interviews lasting 90 minutes.

Interpretations?

^^my interview only lasted ~25 mins. Don't worry about it. And I'd say it went well.
