I have never seen anyone who’s taken that many AP exams by the beginning of their senior year. I think your test scores and transcript will be quite strong (the poor chem scores won’t matter a bit). Your ECs are only fair, but as an ED applicant with a good essay and good recs, I think you are a strong contender.
Good luck.

got them all in Sophomore year. The C was in Hon. Alg. 2/Trig., and the class is one of the most difficult in our school. I got a B 2nd semester

Only one grade should show on your transcript (as submitted to colleges) per year, and that’s the final grade. Colleges don’t care about (and generally don’t see) semester, trimester or quarter grades.

That’s not true WCASParent. Assuming that you are on a semester system Tufts will see your first and second semester grades. That being said DosEquis still looks like a strong candidate. I would just focus on writing intriguing essays at this point.

^^Not sure we’re on the same page.
If by “semester system” you mean courses that are a semester long - so that the final grade is given each semester (like it is in most colleges) - then yes, the “final” grade would be a semester grade, and Tufts would see two per year.
But the original post suggests that grades are given twice a year (i.e., each semester) in a year-long course, in which case I am accustomed to seeing only final grades (one per year) sent to Tufts (and other schools).
My son is at Tufts, and even though he also received grades periodically for year-long courses (and for final exams), the transcript sent to the Tufts AdCom reflected only one grade per course - the “final” grade.

WCASparent, our school system shows semester grades for both one-semester and two-semester courses. So, yes, a full year, AP Calc course would have two separate semester grades on the transcript (i.e., a B first semester, an A second semester). Our school system doesn’t show final exam grades on the transcript, but I’ve heard of other school which do so.

That’s a ridonkulous amount of APs dude, and your GPA/SATs are great too. I don’t see why you need to apply ED, you should get in easily with regular admission.
